Training, qualifications & experience
I am a dietitian and nutritionist since 2002. I have a Masters Degree in medical science in human nutrition with specialisation in clinical nutrition. I have a PhD in vitamins’ assessment in patients with critical illness. I’m also trained by the Kings’ College London in implementing a low-FODMAP diet in functional gastrointestinal disorders, e.g. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
I am a published scientific author, a multiple-congress’ presenter and have taught as a visiting lecturer at University level.
I have scientific publications in international journals, such as the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and a book chapter in the Encyclopaedia of Cancer. I have taught as a visiting lecturer at the Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and Glasgow Caledonian University. Over the years, I have presented numerous times at nutritional scientific meetings in the UK and many European cities (travelling is one of the best things about this).
